I'm fairly sure I remember Tim (owner of the white X1 in the pics) saying he was running 265/30/19's in the rear whereas I'll be going with 275/35/19's.....the 265/30's are a little shorter than...

I obviously can't take credit for either the car or the photography in the following pictures, but it most certainly helped make my decision to go with an X1 a bit easier.

Me neither, especially when it's one of the only model specific kits out there. This added to the fact that we now know how close they are in design to the E9x xDrive units and what needs to be done...

The stock M-Sport suspension certainly isn't the most plush, not that plush is what most of us are looking for anyway, but it at least means the comfort level doesn't drop significantly with a decent...

The majority of Mazda's rotary engines were twin rotor, with the 20B being a triple.

Switched the 335i for an X1 35i (needed a bit more interior room) so I've got a couple of bits to sell.


First up, an HPF Gen 2 exhaust system. Had it on my E92 xDrive so i/xi fitment is good....

Maybe BBS Impul (almost an RS/LM cross)? Lovely looking wheels but not that easy to come by iirc.

I doubt I'll be staying at stage 1. The JB4 Stage 2 works on the X1 as well, so one way or another, something will be going on by spring :)

So the valve stems will be accessed from the inside? Are you going to do something about the stock hole location in the centre disk where the valve stem would normally pass through?

Got a buddy back in the UK who works at McLaren (not exactly a top tier position, but coolo none the less), so I'm trying to swing an "extended" factory tour on my next trip back there in April.

I'm just coming up to the 2000km mark, so just about there. I have no issues with running the Cobb in the cold, just that I can't be bothered to get the tune thing moving until spring is a little...

I was lucky enough to be working in Monaco at the time of the '97 Monte Carlo rally. The last SS was being held around the Marina and, for this particular year, it was preceded by a Grp B "tribute"....

Finaly made it out of the N52/N55 section to find we have a Canada thread. Excellent.....even if I am the only one from outside the GTA :(
