Got in touch with David, will post full update after SPEC resolves the matter in full.

A new clutch on the E9X platform is a good upgrade. I would like to reccomend SPEC, but with Customer Service being the way it is (hoping for a positive resolution) I can't reccomend their parts.

SPEC provided one. It was the part that had to be machined to allow for the proper spacing of the clutch assembly. Sorry, it was the Clutch Release Bearing Mount that was squeaking, not the TO

PS, David from SPEC contacted me last week (Wed/Thurs) and havent heard back yet.

SPEC Stage1 with Steel FW and I have chatter in addition to a constant squeak from the TO carrier.

just my 2 cents....

Aluminum SMFW- chattered like a bastard but the rmp came up and settled much quicker even on cold start.

Steel SMFW and while the RPM response is better than stock, its not...
