I installed both this past weekend. Both parts are must have if you're FBO or even just tuned. The BMS style OCC should have come with the N54 motor.

I had these seats in my old E36 M3....so hard to keep clean and the leather was stretched too tightly.

I think he's referncing the E9X 325 vs the 328....both were 3.0L motors and the 325 had a detuned ECU IIRC.
