Yup, this engine has been in our hands for about 3-4 years and actually was used to pioneer our all-bmw OEM stand alone wiring harness with the factory DME.... then, it was used to make some test...
you won't be able to get them on by hand, the tool is the only way to get them on there.
From there, the mandrels will compress the seal on the injector, and you have 30 seconds- 1 minute to get...
Not one bit. I don't know how much more clear I could've been, unless I got some big blinking sign or something.

you ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS replace the seals, EVERY SINGLE TIME.
Sounds weird- but we've moved from Liqui-moly now to Motul- better results, better oil analysis.
WE use 10w40 out here, cause it never gets cold.

From my experience, modeling is just 1/4 of the issue.
Engineering and actually cutting it out is where the real time is involved.
We've looked into an aluminum valve cover, and while I think we could do it- no one would want to pay for it.
I'd venture to say to make it profitable for us, we'd be around 4-6K per valve cover-...

I went through 17 injectors from Standard on my super duty....
bought 8, 4 didnt...

meh, not exactly. Diesels will idle with a lambda value of up to 10..... that's like 140:1 fuel ratio. They run ultra lean at idle, compensated with massive amounts of EGR. Diesel is also much more...
