It's technically just a flash map. As long as the company doing the flash map does something mild without causing any tuning issues (like throttle getting stuck at 50% due to an internal mapping...

As luck would have it one of our PURE S2 customers loaded up the ESS flash to eliminate the speed delimiter and lower fuel trims. First log is with the OEM flash second is with the ESS flash loaded....

As for your technical points again, doesn't make much sense, and frankly I don't feel like spending my time educating you or apparently the various flash tuners I see frequently read our threads....

Let's get that 2nd gear boost issue sorted too. Be nice to see this thing in the 10s. :)

Exactly except for one minor detail. The amount of throttle closure required for the DME to effect the pressure ratio is a dynamic function of airflow. At lower airflow levels the throttle has to...

On your tuning commentary I think its self evident from the quote above you're not qualified to be part of the technical discussion. But on the s63 JB4 capacity we have the s63 flex fuel wires for...

No, I'm not going to tell you. lol.
ps. Don't take this the wrong way... But you pop up an awful lot in the JB4 discussions normally with mostly negative things to say. When was the last time you...

Bizarre, it's been the opposite from most of my M5 customers experience, unless its a situation where you were maxing out the fuel trims. Then it makes perfect sense. JB4 only you would need to add...

For the S55 EWG depending on boost and RPM the pressure ratio between the manifold and the TMAP remains 1:1 as low as 60% at lower RPM and around 80% at higher RPM. The M5 PWG I have not measured yet...

Ever looked at a stock S55 log? ;)
Once we have viable OBDII flashing I have some ideas for how the tuning can be further improved via a back end flash map to push our JB4 records even higher. But...

Turbos are worth around 150whp peak when really maxed out. The $5k would be worth it if they only added 50whp though. What else are you going to do once you max the OEM turbos out and want to go...

The pins are just for 2C3X fault codes that result in open loop when triggered. Even with them unplugged the long term trims learn apart without the adaption reset every startup.

19&20 on the small black. The rear o2 sensors are traditional narrow band 0-1v signal wires. You can unplug them to disable the rear o2 sensor learning all together, split one sensor in to two wires...

On the rear o2 sensors merging in to one bank on the DME side may help, I've merged them physically, to no avail. If you leave them connected merged or not on a single turbo the DME eventually throws...
Mixing in 50% MS109 would definitely solve the fueling issue. Then we just need to get the MAP sensor going.
I'm OK with blowing the motor up but it has to be done smartly. e.g. if you're going to risk it on boost lets at least get the 5bar MAP sensor up and running first so we know how high it goes. And if...

The problem with this tuning subject and others like is that it's complex and one has to have a good understanding of the basic concepts to be entitled to an opinion. And so few really do.
Watch out Payam our stock turbo, stock exhaust M5 is right on your heels! ;)

I have the know how but not the time or motivation. This would be best suited for one of the flash companies to tackle IMHO.
I wouldn't want to run these boost levels on 91. Maybe 93 but even that would be sketchy IMHO.
S63/S63TU: Updated JB4 M5 60-130 run, 6.5s
Gave the 60-130 another shot tonight at a private track with our 2015 M5. Changes since run including swapping from CM7 to CM10 nozzles, going up to straight meth, and limiting boost in 3rd gear to...
