how will you measure lag (transient response)?
08-06-2015, 05:50 AM
I didn't see any numbers/proof yet, just pictures.
Intercooler performance is mainly affected by core-quality, dimension and endtank design. Just making a FMIC bigger isn't the key, because too...
why is TQ so late (beyond 4,600rpm)? Part of the tune or the nature of the turbos?
I personally wouldn't like such a TQ curve but that seems to be a matter of taste.

I know couple of German customers, but thats on stage2 (Non-plus)...

pressure drop is also a result of bad flow.
Again, did you do any simulation?
08-04-2015, 05:46 PM
Flow. Any simulation done? Looks like there will be unneccesary pressure drop, because of the shape.

Really bad endtank design though.

Pump gas is what 90% of the world uses, so it matters a lot – don't ever forget about that! In some countrys there ist 93-95 octane fuel an there a thousands of customers using their car as a daily...

could you (or someone) elaborate a bit on that?
04-26-2015, 06:21 PM
Any first hand experiences or just guessing?

could you make me an offer for the LUX H8 160 LED angel eyes. Price on your website seems to be the regular price from LUX?

Thanks for that information. I thought high-speed balancing is a standard method, since it's also done on the OE turbos. So low speed balancing is below OE specs, is that right?
01-27-2015, 05:24 AM
how did you do the balancing before?

If there wasn't any analysis, how can you be sure that there is any benefit compared to the stock piping?
01-06-2015, 05:32 AM
01-03-2015, 06:52 AM
Any simulation/CFD analysis involved or are they just "pipes"?
12-16-2014, 08:23 PM
Whats the difference to the cp-e pipe?
Did three new runs, what do you guys think?

also have problems on cyl 5:
Hey guys, made my first log (but screwed it somehow).
However, what do you think?

M4 has flat torque from 3k rpm on, so it feels equally strong in almost every rev-range.
Whereas the single turbo kicks in at 4 or 4.5k rpm but on a much higher level... old-style turbo...
09-26-2014, 04:22 AM
So what hybrid would be the most responsive solution?
09-23-2014, 07:32 AM
Right, for a turbo charged system the N54 has almost no lag. But compared to a super-responsive NA Engine (S54, S65,...) it is still laggy..it needs 2-3s for full boost! Thats why the new M4/S55 or...

The other way around: I dont want to lose much of the quick spool and response the stockers have, so the questions remains which turbine und compressor configuration fits best for that.
