That is right... A NA V8-V10 can be done but is also within the EU less attractive as high emission engines affect the road taxes big time.

People should not confuse adaption resets (that goes along with a flash) with the alpina behaviour. I'm sure the flash is an absolute winner, but some of the observations above sound more like...

I can confirm this is the case..... it has been noted in the past... It's not completly clear what the reason is behind this design.

Did you already compare the coding before and after? On working and non working (pedals) cars?
I assume the Alpina flash resets the config back to default.. might give glitches in certain...

I think it's my next car... The 6 is to big and to much show off for customer visits and this is more sporty then a 5er.... so pop in a nice engine and voila...

Thats the thing I use it for road track purposes... it's quite a different situation... lots more breaking and slow parts just after high speed parts of the track.. it's a killer.. driving skills...
