I think you're severely underestimating the value they put into those times.
But, that said, if they couldn't optimize the GTS to be faster... who could?

So you think they didn't know how to set it up properly when setting the ring time?
Even assuming that's correct (seems unlikely), you're talking about car than has has what makes the M3...

Apparently not-- I've never sold any tunes.

The problem was that they were claiming that they were dynojet equivalent numbers. My point was that they were not ;)
I am not and have never been an Evolve dealer. I have never sold a single...

At the time you said that dyno read lower than a dynojet, but, let's go with "the same as" instead.
I'm curious what Sticky thinks of a stock header/cam/intake manifold e46 M3 putting down...

So what are your thoughts on KhanArt claiming his car making 328rwhp with stock headers/cams/intake manifold, on a dyno that supposedly reads lower than an SAE dynojet? I'd link you to the thread...

Strangely I completely agree with you. Feels weird.
Surprised we're not hearing more from the Tuning Tech FS camp :cough KhanArt:

Nice gains. I could swear I've seen this before somewhere :laughing-rofl:

If the shifting is automated, it's automatic. If they shifts are performed manually, it's manual. Pressing a button isn't shifting, it's triggering an automated sequence.

On the 128i and 328i you can retrofit the DISA valves from a 330i, X5 3.0si, X3 3.0si or Z4 3.0si ($150 for the parts used), flash on a BMW tune, and be at 272 HP, NA, with factory reliability (as...

Weird, as I remember it, you posted pictures of one of my project cars on the site your parents bought you.
Though, in your defense, I don't think you knew it was my car when you did it.

BMW went to a V8 because there was nothing to be had from the I6 and they needed to stay competitive with Audi and MB. Their racing program may have benefited from that move, but that's not why they...

I'm not really sure why you're hung up on the race car. A wagon existing would not make the race car not exist or take away the engine. Who cares which shape of car they base the race car on, anyway?...

The current M3 sedan already uses coupe headlights, so it's pretty safe to say the wagon would have as well. So there you go-- similar levels of parts sharing with the race program :D

More rigid chassis, more practical.
The brilliance of the M3 is it combines sportiness and practicality. An M3 wagon would do that better. Minimal decrease in sport, huge increase in practical.
That is one of the things Sticky does when people disagree with him. That way you can't post links, pics, etc to back up your argument, making it easier for him to appear to win arguments even when...

The stock ECU can take 50 flashes. After that it goes into limp mode, and the only solution is a new ECU.
Some tuners get around that by not reflashing the VIN, which makes it so the flash...
Yep, was agreeing with you.
Those are fairly retro. Most people on here probably don't know what they are
Lol at light boxes for the DDEs. That dates those pics!
