" Now I get it... To be honest, I didn't fully understand why this type of blower wasn't used. After reading the explanation, this makes a lot of sense why it wasn't done.

I am guessing the car there is in a driveable state? Are these guys on the forum?

Cheers. "

I agree... What's 1000 times more impressive than the 0-60 video, is the 0-100 time (shown below on the vbox) of 6.0 seconds flat. That's INSANE. I could easily see this running 9s. "

" Just a question - have you considered just replacing the steering wheel with a wheel having less diameter? I am not sure how often you race - but that's something I would consider given that your options aren't cheap/easy. "

" I personally think it's a no brainer, however I am biased.

I have had zero (nil/none) issues with my car (minus the engine mounts), it's literally indestructible. I really don't think you can beat a car up much worse than I do to mine... Point is - there will always be something said about an engine. There will always be some bad eggs in the crate (or however the saying goes). I don't think it's something you need to weigh your decision on, especially considering you don't want to add boost. How many engines have died that you know of? Of those, were they boosted?

Those two last questions should indicate that it's very few - and yes, stock engines have went... We are talking like less than 1% here - and you will likely be covered under warranty based on what you are looking for.

^^^

All of that is what you seem concerned about. You won't find the next engine to be close to this thing. I suggest you try test driving one to feel it out. It's so hard to describe to people - but the throttle response is so above par, it's not even comparable to much anything... Just this alone will make you smile - and let you know that you have something special under the hood. "

5 MPH is a lot though, that's the thing... It's not a little - it's a lot.

If figures don't come from magazines/trusted sources - then they come from races like this. Recursion begins (in other words, chicken before the egg?) "
