The dipstick is a nice easy way to determine when it's time to empty out the can. The can mounting frame fits existing screw holes in the compartment.

The only pics I could find of catch can installs were on '01/'04 models. On the '05/'06 cars, there is additional hardware and wiring in the setup. So, I used a pair of 90 degree connectors to route the vent hose to the catch can input. For the catch can output to the ESS intake tube connection, I used 50" of hose.

Frame install. The little towel came in handy, catching the bolt I dropped during the installation.

Can installed with the in & out hose connector mounts.
The upper mount rotates, which makes can mount and hose fitment a breeze.

Vent tube setup before the catch can installation.

Vent tube setup after the installation of the re-direct back towards the can.
No clamps needed. The fin/barbs make a very tight seal.

Hose connections at the can. Upper is in, lower is out.

Another angle after the installation.
I used some small diameter hose to line the sharp ridges of the opening into the engine bay.

And, another angle of the hose direction change for the '05/'06 setup.

I've had the s/c kit for 16,000 miles, including a few track days.
Here's the oil buildup in the intake tube. All cleaned up now.

Here's the s/c impeller after 16,000 miles with no catch can. Not too bad.
There was no liquid oil on the blades. Still wiped everything up best I could.

All buttoned up. Beast runs great.

Well after @stash1 posted the contents of his Oil Catch Can ( http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=443850 ) it prompted me into looking for one because I didn't want the gunk in my engine. I came upon a few of them which were pretty high quality and a lot of people also suggested building one from here and there and how that would be so much cheaper.

What I wanted was a high quality PnP application as I often do not have enough time to work on my own car. I came across the RADIUM ENGINEERING's newly released S54 E46 M3 Oil Catch Can. The quality looked amazing to start with so I shot them an email and they quickly replied back. Next day I had paid for it and it was on its way and when it arrived.........I knew I had made the right decision in going with Radium.

The kit came very well and safely packaged with all the parts you'll need to install the catch can including clear, detailed step by step instructions with pics. So I got around to installing it today and didn't let the FLU stop me LOL.

The Oil Catch Can itself.....

Cutting the Valve Cover Ventilation Hose to remove the connectors.....

Hoses Clamped with supplied Clamps to the correct locations on the valve cover and OEM CSL Airbox.....

Catch Can Installed and Tightened all Connectors etc. love the attention to detail on Radium's products. Notice the little green dipstick....

In this Pic the hoses are installed the wrong way around on the catch can. My Mistake....

Corrected and Completed Install.....

We Will have to see how much Gunk it collects lol. As I don't drive my car much or don't get the chance to drive it much it might be a while.

i had the incredible chance to read out a Alpina B3 3.3 (may even be a B3S, still to be checked) and even found a stock MS43 file to compare.

Maybe its possible that someone could create a flashable file for WinKFP? I haven´t found one so far.

Last but most important, i hope the Alpina TCU will raise the ShiftRPM under WOT from 6300 to 6X00. If so, i would like to play with the HP19 a bit more and now comes the tricky part:

I just had an OEM M54B30 intake manifold scanned and measured for an aluminum flange that will allow anyone to make their own intake manifolds.
