      The C63 Black Series was spotted testing again. As you can see, it is the sedan being tested. Rumor is that there will be two Black Series versions, a coupe and a sedan. What about the motor? Reports are leaning toward the M156 V8 already in the C63 with a higher state of tune around 510 horsepower but the twin turbo M157 V8 is still a possibility. We hope for the latter but there seems to be a split on which motor it will get.

        This is pretty sick, but that wide fender thing is ugly. they just need to make the whole thing wider not just the ends lol. If this gets the V8TT, the game will soon change.

        Pre-production. Production fenders would be much cleaner.

        I am hoping so. I have been optimistic and doubt they would be testing a 4 door only to produce a 2 door. But many say they will never build a 4 door. I say its coming and I cant waitClick here to enlarge

        Keep an open mind and your fingers crossed...LOL. Well one can hope and there is a first time for everything. MB has a big stake so the rules may change on the definition of a BS or performance track sedan. They do have DTM and other race series sedans so why not?

        I agree. All the initial testing of the mules have been a sedan so I highly doubt they would test a 4 door only to make a 2 door. The general consensus is the 2 door coupe is very lacking in the looks department. Most everyone says its horrible and Accord looking. I really think the C63 sedan has quite the following and MB will be shooting themselves in the foot by producing only a 2 door. Not too mention the previous BS cars were only 2 doors as standard cars. The new BS is based off a 4 door.         Well I havent heard one person say they like the looks of the standard 2 door C63. Not one.... And I visit all the forums. Every comment I hear says it loks like the Honda Accord. And I agree, I think the 2 door is horrible... Just my opinion though

        I thin the Coupe looks very nice also. I would definitely go for the 2 door instead of the 4 door.

        Not too mention they are saying they weigh near identical weight. So its completely impractical in so many ways. But we'll se what the BS brings.

        Well it's the samething as in the 3 series the Coupe Models weight around the same as the Sedans. It is just a matter of a choice.....

        Wonder what they are trying to test with 19s on the front and 18s on the back? Those are 18s on the back are they not? Not a staggered fitment 9" front and back ?

        Maybe so. Doing performance testing with a RWD C63 in the snow is likely challenging.
