      Not too long ago this would have been science fiction. With an Ipad or Android phone APR will have EMCS software available for download. This will work much in same fashion as how you used to switch maps with the cruise control stalk. It doesn't end there, it will allow you to record logs to your phone, check/clear codes, have electronic gauges, and record performance measurements. Awesomeness.

        Yea, perfect time for my car to be totaled too. This app is sick. Instead of holding a button on the car to change programs you can just do it on your phone. Its too sick! Apr I must say is one of the sickest tuners in the industry. but then again I an kinda bias cause i did have their tunes Click here to enlarge..         Going to be a while before we have the interest of APR.

        Also, need to figure out how to organize the VWbost and Audiboost motors better.

        Do you have a list of the motors that overlap for both?

        I do not yet, but i will try to get a hold of some.. it gets tricky when we get into us/euro models cause they use the engines so randomly.

        its mostly only the FSI engine stuff is used interchangeably

        The 2.5l rabbit engine. I think the TSI 2.0t is the another for the VW.

        I had it in my Audi A3 2.0T... it IS the S**T... Sometimes I still miss flashing the ECU in 10 min to upload or going back to stock when taking it to the dealer... I installed the JB3(JB4) myself, and its not THAT hard, but I cant do it in 15 min like everybody claims to... Nothing lile watching your laptop do the hardwork for you!

        It's the same for me too. some engines (FSI) can have the same name but be totally different. FSI in the 2.0t S3 is different than the 2.0t a4 FSI and different again from the Vw mkv gti FSI. sooooo $#@!ing stupid.

        aren't they basically one engine? with different tunes?

        The VR6 is a sick but I'm pretty sure it's the same 3.6 liter for all the models.
