      Autoweek is reporting that Mercedes plans an entry level 4 door coupe as well as AMG A class. The CLC may be based on the new A class and an AMG variant may come as well. The powertrain would likely be the same dual clutch transmission that Mercedes plans to use in their GLC (entry level SUV slotted below the GLK). What we have to wonder is if the A class will make it to the USA this time as the CLC is a sure bet.

        Those first 2 first look great. So it will probably have the 5.5 TT V8?

        Didnt the 2012 CLS get the 5.5 V8 TT or was it 5.5 V8 N/A?

        For it to have 443 ft-lbs @1600 rpm, it must be TT(F/I), no?

        Yes, it has the TT motor.

        the CLC is going to be a 1 series and A3 competitor. I doubt that it will get the V8 TT.

        I doubt it as well. Likely won't get any V8.
