Pictures of the state M5junky's E60 M5 was in when removed from ASR Engineering for failure to compete custom twin turbo setup

Abid contacted me asking for this thread to be removed due to legal issues with Juan (GT3Ranger aka Lock N Load).

I'm not a fan of ASR for all the issues they have had with our members as of late but I'm wondering if it would be unfair for Abid to not get his say at least. I'm not going to delete pull or delete this thread, count on that, but I think it would unfair if I did not allow the other side to say their piece even if I find what ASR has done according to M5junky and Ranger unforgivable.

Why can't he post? The thread should NOT be deleted. Snakes should be EXPOSED.
Dude $#@!ed there cars I don't see no way this guy can defend himself.
At the same time I wouldn't expect to much info as the legal battle is under way.

The pics tell alot I doubt that was how the Cars were dropped off.

Yes there are, that is what I don't understand. Say what he wrote about Ranger is true (not saying it is) how would that explain M5junky's (Steve) situation?

exactly.. it cant.. and that is how its just BS and now he is slanderous. A. he agreed to take payments and start working.. so if months/years later there is ZERO work done, then where did that money go? B. just cause one guy may OR MAY NOT HAVE had hard times and need exceptions, that does not explain why no work has begun on the other owners car.. If you cant be trusted in the small things, you cant be trusted in large things..

OT-So who believes those asr video's? i crititiqued months ago

LM i have come to realize you are quite the trouble maker. but this is a little over the top. you should really get the back story and info before stating your opinion/what you think is fact. i dont have the complete story, nor am i posting this on behalf of asr or abid. and from sticky's post, abid will hopefully chime in with the entire story, hopefully including steve.

i have held this information but it may be time to let the cat out of the bag. im not sure if i should post this, as it is very private information that will certainly embarrass the M5 owner (ranger). if i state what i know it could be used in the legal battle, so im not sure if i want to post the story i do know. but here we go, as most on this thread has slandered and spread libel about asr. m5ranger is not a very friendly guy imo. his temper is one straw away from snapping. he's usually a very calm guy, but if you say the wrong thing or piss him off, he flips a switch and becomes very aggressive. he threatens people constantly on forums and has gotten banned from many for doing so. this forum is kind of like a safe house, until someone pisses him off and we see his other side.
now for the embarrassing part. when juan first came to abid and discussed the m5 twin turbo build both parties were very excited. Abid explained to juan that the build would be quite expensive, as all the tooling, machine time and fabrication is custom work. being that he was the guinea pig he offered a 50% discount basically. juan agreed and abid asked for a deposit. this was given to him within a couple months and abid started planning the build. some time passed and after about a year juan responds and gives a second deposit, giving abid about 1/3rd of the build cost. eventually more time passed and juan called abid, upset and worried. it turned out he lost his job at the hospital for guess what, threatening another doctor. no one can blame juan for choosing to not keep paying abid, as his funds were probably needed in legal fees and family needs. but to say abid is at fault for not completing the build is a lie.
i dont have enough information on steve to post a story like i did with juan, this may give me some flak here but it's well worth it, to get the real truth out.

oh and LM, about those videos, what is not to believe about them? why is it so hard to believe a 135 with racegas, FBO and turbo upgrades cant keep up with a FBO 996 turbo and FBO gtr? comon man get real, it's like you have some vendetta against asr.

Ok, this is part of what was written to me.

What I do not understand is, why was no work done other than taking the car apart and putting it into pieces with the first deposit? Also, what Juan told me is he paid a GOOD chunk of cash. For that amount of cash the parts could all be purchased, no problem. Where are the pistons? Where are the rods? Where is even some piping? No manifold mock-ups?

How does any of this explain that Steve experienced the same thing?

a valid question. the answer is all of that stuff you mentioned exists and then some. i'll break it down for ya, before making parts there's R&D/CAD work, some of the money went there, then there the tooling for the machines and the machine time, money there. then there's the actual product, the pistons and rods, all of which are standing by at ASR, waiting for juan to pay up the rest of the money, but we all know that will never happen. think about it, if abid gave juan the completed pistons/rods, pipes, mani, valve cover with oil plug mod, etc, juan could use the R&D to develop a kit with a competing company. the only way i see asr using those parts is to install them in an s85.

I know what Steve paid... and it was more than enough to cover it alone let alone combined with Juan's money.

i dont know the whole story, im just telling you what i have seen/know. i have seen the work with my own eyes, the engine for a long time out of the car with the work etc, the turbos.. why do you continue to tell me nothing got done? PM me if I shouldn't post here for obvious legal reasons.

Abid, im pretty sure, will never post in this thread, why? because it will get him in trouble legally, slander, who knows, let the legal $#@! play out, let this thread come to a close, which it wont, but i hope. anyway, im out of this thread as i dont want to further involve myself in a huge mess with multiple people on multiple reasons, he runs a business that produces products that speak for themselves, he doesnt need advertising nor internet hype/fail to improve his work.

Well because Juan and Steve say nothing got done and the pictures support that. Two cars both with the same result both with the two owners saying the same things? Plus, ASR has had some major customer service issues as of late, so things just do not look good.

It is all going to play out one way or another so we will see what happens but it would seem you are saying that Juan did not pay. Yet Steve and Juan both paid large sums in advance, so it just does not make sense to me.

wow this is a $#@! show! Now i do not feel as bad for the stuff i went through with different shops! I kinda went through the same thing with 2 shops here in MN then one in Cali! These one off custom kits make it easy for a tuner/shop to hang you out to dry and just say oh this, this, this. Now it was brought up that the two guys with basically salvaged cars should not get parts they paid for because they could bring it to another shop lol! that is not for asr to decide these guys paid money give them their parts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also read you saying cad machine shop etc costs money okay well they paid for it give them the cad drawings! it belongs to them if they paid for it! But you se there are no cad drawings or machine work, because if there was a reputable shop would hand them over instead of going through legal battles and name smearing like this!!!!!!!!!!!

Dude that is defending them is a local to them.

Not to mention if you are a shop that specializes in nitrous why the hell would you take on a project like this lol! It just shows how much of a crook you really are!
