      Gintani is offering an introductory special for their naturally aspirated stroker motor for the S65. This offer is open only to the first person and the intro pricing reflects this. Included in the price are the new pistons, rods, custom crank, installation, custom dyno tune, as well as custom headers built specifically for the stroker application. No additional costs, everything included for the intro price. Compare this to $25,999 for the Dinan stroker motor or $32,800 for the RDsport stroker motor and one can see just how great this offer is.


      Remember, this is just an introductory price for one person only. If interested, one needs to either be in the area where Gintani is located or be able to ship their car. The build time is approximately 4 weeks as the crank will be made to order. Bore x stroke can be customized to the owners needs/wants.         Why would anyone want to get a stroker when a Gintani SC can be purchased for less and produce more power? Is the reasoning to keep the M3 naturally aspired?

        Some people want to keep it naturally aspirated and more in line with what the factory would do, yes. The power delivery is also different between the two. It is not always about max horses but how you get them.

        what if someone wanted to do this AND get their SC system added as well. would that be an additional 15k for theSC kit?

        Yes, and you should lower the compression as well.

        He didn't have low compression pistons, he did the stroker then supercharged later.

        sounds similar to what alot of the bt audi guys do but for alot more

        Different motors, this is the best price ever offered for an S65.

        That is pretty nice deal, is Gintani offering a warranty on it? I love NA motors and that is one major reason why I want a V8 powered M3. I personally think the RD Sport and Dinan strokers are way overpriced, but $16k for the Gintani motor is very reasonable IMO.

        Oh yes, I forgot, yes, limited warranty. I think only 1 year though but I have to check.

        $16k installed with tuning and the rest is under their cost. The crank alone is $5k.
