• Production version of BMW Vision Efficient Dynamics (or i8) spotted in Abu Dhabi

      BMW was apparently doing a photoshoot with their new "supercar" (we use the term loosely) when photographers happened to be at the right place at the right time and snapped some photos of the very production looking car. There also are rumors floating around that the name is now the i8, which is a lot easier to type than Vision Efficient Dynamics. The car does look very, very good in this trim and we do not hope much changes with the styling by the time it arrives on the market.

        I checked it out yesterday. I think it looks better than other pics I've seen

        It seems more realistic

        No idea yet. Electric batteries and motors are not light.

        Yes, a 5.8 liter with two turbos.... not going to happen though.

        If anything, we will be lucky to get the N63 in this thing.

        i think if Bmw wants to build a Supercar version,they will make a whole new engine for it.
