Here we have a built motor S62 V8 running a single turbo. The motor has been dropped down to 9.0:1 compression and the turbo is a Garrett GT4088R. This is impressive to see as there has not been much if any successful turbo development on the S62 V8. As you all know, HPF abandoned plans to bring a turbo setup to market citing cost. It would seem this car from Russia has succeeded at least in the hardware aspect. We are waiting to see dyno's once the motor is broken in as well as who tuned it as it uses the stock DME! Impressive.
Baller, the issue with the 540 is tuning... I've got a SC project (mild in comparison) I'm working on and the tuning is key... ask Dirt11 (Dave) on the board, there are only a few guys in the world that can tune the Bosch 7.2 that's used for the M62 in our cars...

It's tuning for basically all the BMW's trying to add forced induction, I hear you loud and clear.
This seems to happen to often. Especially with the S62. Its talked about alot but never done. Then the very few that have been attempted seem to either get placed on the back burner or never heard of again. But i think Oleg will get this one done. Hopefully he is just taking his time to do it right.
