      As BMW often does, they reveal their new models at auto shows in concept form. The new 6 is no different and here is what BMW will be presenting at Paris, the 6 series concept coupe. Overall, the design is a huge improvement over the previous model. The design is elegant and conservative, not the radial departure with the odd rear that the E63 was.

      The front and rear are the major areas of improvement. The headlights are simply beautiful and modern BMW. The rear exhaust here will no doubt not carry over the production model. The main point of improvement is the rear itself that no longer has the exaggerated "bangle butt." We like the design and it is not overdone. Nice, safe, conservative, and elegant incorporating the Gran Coupe lines. The interior is restrained and refined as well, typical modern and sharp BMW. We can not wait to see the M6.

        Still, I picture the 6 serious to be more sleek.
        This is a good start, but certainly not worthy of final product.

        If so I like it... The m6 will be sick... If they can drop 300lbs and maintain a 8k+ redline... I'm game

        Yes, this is the official concept.

        It will not have a high redline, same motor as M5.

        Can't wait to see this in black.

        Do you know what the redline will be on the new m5/m6 engine?

        I don't see it being much different from the X5/X6 M redline. I would bet money the heads/valvetrain on all those cars are the exact same.

        Best most classy design BMW has made in years. Remind me of the 8 series kinda.. I hope they carry over as much as possible in the production model. That interior is $#@!in awesome. I want one fore sure.

        At certain angles it looks kinda lame but its a HOT car. Its somethin different , kinda. The interior is definatley sexy at least not to mention the new navi screen, and the huge panoramic roof. It might be just the color thats throwing some off. The red and blue M6 renderings ( my wallpaper ) , u know the ones in the garage, match up pretty well to the concept and they look very good. If thats the finished product, im sold just off the interior and then the body.
