      We did this months ago but nice to see Automobile get with the program. They used a dynojet which is nice to see and they admit it is a higher reading dyno. They also used a manual, as they state: "The DCT could experience greater loss due to its hydraulic pump and different gear ratios." Sounds like something else we did months ago. Automobile reaches the conclusion that the N55 suffers from less turbo lag than the N54 and it puts down less power, quite interesting. Our results showed the N55 with more peak power, much more than the 266 whp they hit. Dyno Graphs are below.

        The difference in the results is interesting...even if their dyno needed adjustment, the difference is between the car's performance.
        I read somewhere however that Terry at BMS stated that ultimately if you had a choice - go with the N54 engine.

        That is Terry's perspective, and as of right now correct.

        However, the N55 may surpass the N54 although the valvetronic complicates things. With a single turbo already set up I hope to see a big single in place on it much faster than the N54.

        Ultimately, we will see both engines with single turbo setups putting down big numbers but the N54 puts up better performance currently.
