• BMW M3's Finish 2nd and 3rd at Lime Rock - Race Wrap-Up

      The M3's ran an extremely tough race. Despite qualifying at the back of the back, the M3's charged to the front and challenged for the lead the entire race. The number 90 M3 driven by Joey Hand set the fastest lap in the class with a time of 55.943. The BMW's continue to get stronger and stronger as the season progresses.

      Some of the toughest racing was between the two M3's themselves, with teammates Bill Auberlin and Joey Hand going head to head. The M3's were not able to catch up to Patrick Long in the GT3 RSR. This is the second time now that Patrick Long has managed to hold off the M3's and take the win. By finishing 2nd and 3rd BMW will hold on to its manufacturer lead but is behind in the driver standings.

      The next race is Mid-Ohio, August 7th. The frequency of the races will much quicker now with only 4 races left in the season.
