M3's finish 2nd and 4th at Utah GP, BMW takes 1st place overall manufacturer standing

The number 92 M3 driven by Bill Auberlan and Tommy Milner finished second overall behind the Ferrari F430 GT. The second M3 driven by Dirk Mueller and Joey Hand finished in 4th place behind the Corvette ZR1.

The most important development here is that Porsche was kept out of the top 4 spots allowing BMW to move into first place in the manufacturer standings. There are still plenty of races left in the season but BMW should be proud of their early success. The Rahal-Letterman teams have the right strategy with the M3's as the M3's show great endurance.
