• Absolutely awesome 2013 Audi R8 V10 Plus trailer shows the car spitting flames on the dyno

      This is a hell of a trailer for a car. Simply take off the bumper, pop the mid-engine hood, and show it doing an acceleration sprint on the dyno. Obviously, the high revving 5.2 liter direct injected V10 sounds glorious with all 542 horses galloping. The new dual clutch S-Tronic transmission for the facelift completes shifts in blazingly quick fashion. With the bumper removed one is able to also see the cats off the manifold heat up and the car shoot flames.

      Simply a badass video for a badass car, well done Audi.

        Given how much some of the advertisements/car commercials can cost this one is a huge winner. Super cheap to make, $#@!ing awesome video. Simplicity is key.

        Simple isn't always cheap or easy. I think the elegance of the finished piece belies the amount of thought, preparation, and execution it required.

        Agreed that it's awesome.

        This make me wanna buy 2 R8s -- 1 to permanently keep on the dyno to do this & another to actually drive. The M Division needs to turn out commercials. Here's my favorite BMW M released commercial:
