      The 5-Series GT is awful. Yes, awful. It's ugly, it doesn't sell, it's a flat out disaster and hopefully one that is costing BMW tons of money so they pull their head out of the sand. BMW is determined to force a round peg into a square hole and so will be giving the F07 5GT a major styling refresh. Will it work? Will it somehow change BMW already declaring the 5GT a failure and one of their former executives stating they wished they kept the 5-Series wagon instead? Doubtful.

      So the car is getting a new front bumper design with modified headlights. The front was never the problem it's that spectacularly ugly rear end. It seems the rear is getting some major new changes with a new hatch design, taillights, and rear bumper.

      Frankly, BimmerBoost doesn't care. BimmerBoost hopes this refresh fails and BMW can light the stupid thing on fire and push it off a cliff already. Get back to making drivers cars BMW before you lose the rest of your diehard fans...

        Dont get this why would anyone want this when the 5-series Touring is better and good looking?

        What exactly is the point of getting one of these instead of an X6? (not like there is much of a point to the X6 to begin with) In a few pics it even looks like one, especially the second picture. What an utter failure, again.

        BMW's head is so far up their own ass they can taste it.

        Even the license plate installation is a fail on this one.

        Front and rear plate are mixed up.The two sticker plate belongs back,not front..Click here to enlarge

        Actually all the 5's are getting a face lift for their LCI including the M5.

        How is it that they could pull off an awkward design ~15 years ago with the E36/8, but not today?

        That M coupe is $#@!ing sexy. Someday I will own one....someday.

        As for the 5 GT, is it possible that the have enough 5 GT specific parts laying around that they dont want to waste, so they are trying to morph the 5 GT into something that may sell (even though it probably still wont and they'll end up losing more $) so they don't waste said parts?
