      Interesting dynograph posted by APR here showing their Stage II software on a 3.0 TFSI B8 S4 versus a competitors Stage I software. The competitor is not named but APR was asked to retune the car and got just under 20 more horsepower at all four wheels out of it to bring it to just over 400 at the wheels on a dynojet in DIN correction. The graph gets choppy at the end where the S-Tronic transmission decided to upshift.

      So what accounts for the gain? APR states the unnamed competitor is not able to tune for the upgraded pulley whereas with their Stage II software they are. It's a bit unfair to not name the competitor so that they may have a chance at a rebuttal so this is a bit one-sided. Regardless, great gains by APR and awesome power out of the S4 on pump gas with their software.

        Its either GIAC or STaSIS/REVO... I'm leaning more towards GIAC though, but from what I hear, they are working with AWE-Tuning to come out with a Pulley as well, so I'm sure we will see something of a rebuttal from the other side...

        I think it's a Euro tuner... so not GIAC.

        My car is currently equipped with the full stasis touring package...overall I'm happy but I have already decided to go APR stage 2+ in March...I really miss the low-end tq from the m156 and while I was hoping to wait for the GIAC/AWE pulley package, APR's reputation and proven track record have swayed me. I am hoping to hit the dyno next week for some baseline numbers so I can compare my stasis tune vs the APR tune + pulley next month.

        I'm really excited to see this car putting out numbers close to my C63....off the line acceleration is very impressive as is (launch control is wicked) - I can only imagine what the increase in boost is going feel like with the new pulley. Looking forward to cutting some sub-12 1/4 mile passes this Spring.

        So just suspension mods for now? A pulley and a tune is a must on this motor.

        No - I've got the stasis touring suspension, stasis tune, AWE intake and stasis touring exhaust w/ DPs...really nice package overall but I want more power and APR looks like the way to go.

        If you want more power the APR tune + pulley is where it's at.

        You'll just wear the discs down. It's a consumable item, just depends how much you do it. There is no real set number but I'd guess 50 launches.

        the map on the car was Revo i had it taken off and APR put on it is on a s5 cabriolet

        yes its a completly different car now nothing wrong with the revo software i just wanted the pulley upgrade and the revo software would not support it

        i have the Milltek cat back exhaust fitted and want the sports cats fitted as Milltek don't do them yet I've been looking at super sprint I've been told they will pair up have you heard any feedback on them ?

        I'm in accrington Lancashire do you know anyone else who has had them fitted and if so where they happy as they are not cheap and would hate to get them and there is no difference
