      Mercedes-Benz struggled in Formula 1 last year. They expect big things with their new car and new drivers this year. As you likely remember, Michael Schumacher is out replaced by Lewis Hamilton who will pair with Nico Rosberg for the Mercedes-Petronas team. Mercedes-Benz spent $100 million for their new driver and also purchased the remaining 40% stake in the team in order for Daimler to have sole control and ownership of the team.

      Big, big investments that the new team and the new W04 car have to live up to. It appears they mean serious business as does team princple Ross Brawn, “2013 marks the start of a second era for our Silver Arrows works team. The restructuring we undertook at the team over the past 18 months are now growing in maturity and this is reflected in the F1 W04, which is a clear step forward in design and detail sophistication over its predecessor. Many thousands of hours of work have been invested by our technical teams in Brackley and Brixworth to ensure that the new car delivers a step change in performance compared to last season.”

        Interesting... Wonder how Lewis will settle in at a team other than McLaren?

        Can't wait to see Lewis perform next to Rosberg.
        Did Ross Brawn call Lewis Hamilton "Toto"? What's up with that?

        For a team with their budget and resources, they really hired a $#@! photographer for those pics.

        Hopefully Lewis can get some good results this year.

        So true... Nico looks like an insect, and Lewis is about to get clobbered in the head by the door of the SLS.

        He was referring to Toto Wolff and Niki Lauda when he said "Toto and Niki" not Lewis or Nico. I really hope Lewis does well this year. He had a tough time last year with the Mclaren breaking in winning position a number of times.
