Another AMG engineer poached: BMW takes chassis engineer Arnd Meyer from AMG

What is going on here? AMG continues to lose engineers and important personnel to the competition. AMG recently lost their engine guru
Friedrich Eichler who is responsible for many of the excellent new AMG powerplants to the Volkswagen Group and now chassis engineer Arnd Meyer is gone. This makes for two high profile engineering losses at AMG within a month span. One way to positively look at it is AMG's competitors want who AMG has and clearly AMG has really stepped their performance game up getting a lot of attention.
The engine guru leaving hurts. Combine that with their chassis guru and AMG needs to find some high profile replacements to fill these shoes. The problem is, it seems the best guys for the job were the ones that are now gone. So, opportunity presents itself at AMG and BMW M is able to deal a blow to their rival.
Arnd Meyer was responsible for all the recent Black Series chassis work.
Perhaps this is the first step in BMW taking on AMG's Black Series? We will find out soon enough.
