      This is the world's fastest Golf which has gone 8.6@165 in the 1/4 mile. Yes, insanely fast thanks to a low curb weight (2500 pound range) and all wheel drive to help put the 900+ horses to the ground. The relatively small 1.8 liter sixteen valve motor gets 3.9 BAR of boost from its turbocharger. In PSI that would be an insane 56 pounds per square inch. 0 to 270 kilometers per hour (167.7 miles per hour) which it hits in the span of the 1/4 mile takes just 8.7 seconds.

        This is a totally different motor. Diesel block mated to a 16v gas head.
