Well the Audi A3 sedan is official and it is coming to the United States. It was recently spotted testing and although it is heavily camouflaged one can still tell this is an A3 and it is a sedan. The front headlights do not appear to have differed much from the concept although the rear lights and rear proportions seemed to have changed a bit. Let's pray it looks as good as the
stunning A3 sedan concept which was basically an RS3 preview.
A 2.0T will obviously be standard and likely be the base motor with a
300 horsepower 2.0T Audi S3 being the next step up. That leaves room for an RS3 sedan to slot above it and hopefully it offers the exact same drivetrain as the A3 concept which was a 2.5 inline-5 TFSI with 408 horsepower. This all routed through all wheel drive and a 7-speed dual clutch gearbox. Would make for a hell of a car, let's hope they do it and
take on the upcoming CLA45 AMG.
