      Some nice runs here from VWBoost member zhijjawi10. He has a 2010 Volkswagen MKVI GTI 2.0T with a Borg Warner EFR-7163 turbo upgrade, meth injection, and upgraded injectors. The first 335i he runs into (silver) has a front mount intercooler, downpipes, a JB4, and was running an E85 mix. The 335i pulls on the GTI although the Volkswagen was having some traction issues. Regardless, the first 335i was the faster car.


      The second 335i (white) was having issues and is not even really worth mentioning. These two cars needs to simply run again. What was interesting was the run versus the Viper at the end. The GTI actually hangs in very well and the Viper struggled to pull away although it appeared to be the faster car up top but it did get the jump. Based on the result with the other cars and the run with the Viper, it is likely the Viper is a 2003-2007 model before the power bump in 2008 to 600 horses.

        The gray 335i is mine. op's gti is very quick, bw efr-7163 is no joke lol. It def surprised me! I have the jb4 g5 board (non iso, ive been lazy) with public september 2012 firmware iirc. If he were to up the boost and acquire traction with it, he would no doubt pull on our 335is top end.

        Hahaha "BUT I DIDNT TAKE MY BACK SEATS OFF"... lmao...

        Yeah my GTI had rear seats and passenger seat removed (in process of getting 2nd sparco) and no spare tire.

        It was a good time, good runs as well. We will definitely be seeing each other sometime soon! Viper granny shifted thinking he was walking me.

        Good runs the Dub sounds $#@!in great... That Viper sounded the business but you hung on well. Too bad the two of you could stretch it out more.

        With the races between the first 335, I think if you kept going and hit 5th you would have pulled. @Stucks you hit middle of 4th gear and stopped in the runs pretty much?

        Honestly props on that viper run, you were neck and neck pretty much. Nice video man.

        Thanks bud. On the viper run, I forgot to turn traction control off. When I spun in 3rd, it cut back boost, you can see my boost gauge dip back. Either way, it was awesome.

        I started in 3rd for the first two runs. went through 3rd gear, then 4th. 4th ends at like 125 or 130 i think? Its a nice little place to do 60-130 runs, but theres a hard right sweeper, and going around that at higher speeds is not safe. we u-turned and did the second run on the way back, so it was a hard left sweeper then lol.

        You need to stop calling that thing "stage 3" by the way, i think APR stage 3 cars are mid 300hp/tq at best. You're like 3.5 Click here to enlarge

        I would've expected the PROtuned car to do much better. Nothing against the GTi, it's obviously a VERY quick car.

        I'll probably use stucks 335i as a measuring stick of sorts and then re-run the GTI at some point on a road where we can stretch it out more. We live right next to each other lol. I still think up top that GTI will keep pulling while our turbos run out of breath...

        I did some logs and they weren't pretty but thats on me to get sorted out.

        He had issues with timing pull.
