Porsche 997.2 Turbo S PDK with 530 wheel horsepower on race gas versus Nissan GT-R with 585 wheel on E85 from stop and roll

Awesome wrap on the P-car & the PDK is clearly is outdoing the GTRs DCT, but when you're down on power (Turbo S 530 WHP/ Race Gas according to the vid description vs. GTR with 585 WHP/E85) it's not a surprise that the GTR pulls away.

Here is a race between two turbocharged six-cylinder vehicles with all wheel drive and dual clutch transmissions. The Porsche 911 Turbo S and the Nissan GT-R. The Porsche 997.2 Turbo is said to have bolt ons and race gas with output in the 530 wheel horsepower range. The Nissan GT-R is also stated to have bolt ons but 585 wheel horsepower with E85 fuel. So more power in the GT-R but the 911 Turbo is lighter. Who wins?

The GT-R takes this rather easily and shows it is the more powerful vehicle. The 997 rips it out of the hole from a stop but the GT-R catches and passes relatively easily. Perhaps the GT-R owner was babying it out of the hole. Sure looks like more than 55 wheel horsepower at work though.

Yes, I would have loved the Porsche to take this one as I love the brand more than Nissan, but it didn't.

That love does not mean I am a child saying "well, you know, IF!" Face it, Nissan GT-R won and there are no ifs, buts and maybes involved.

Does anyone know what power levels of the GTR's stock turbo are? I know that the 997's are fairly limited (like ~500 WHP) on the factory/non-modified turbos.

Found a better article on that website that gave exact numbers. Built motor with stock turbos running 24psi peak & 19psi at redline with an E85 tune made 642 WHP / 700 WTQ
