      This is a race... of sorts. It shows the difference between a fast car and a really fast car. The Gintani supercharged DCT M3 is a quick car by any stretch of the imagination capable of turning ~130 mile per hour 1/4 mile trap speeds and providing 600 horsepower to the wheels. Definitely fast. But the Mercedes it runs against here happens to hold the record for the World's Fastest Mercedes-Benz with a trap speed of 144 miles per hour. In other words, a mismatch.


      The W209 CLK63 AMG Black Series belongs to BenzBoost member @ecampbell . In race trim it puts out 837 horsepower to the wheels thanks to its 3.0 liter blower and built internals. Very strong, very fast.

      In the video it is said to not be running full power but it is on race gas so make your guess as to the output. Regardless, the potential disparity is about 240 wheel horsepower (although likely more due to the M3 being on 91 octane and no meth) and around 14+ miles per hour of trap speed. It shows in the video. For a more interesting race it will take a built motor and bigger blower M3. BimmerBoost happens to know of one.

        Why the $#@! would Gintani even want a race like this to go down? I gaurantee that Earls wheels were spinning that entire run until he shut down, I did not hear any wheel spin out of the Gintani car.

        There should be a warning on this video for explicit scenes and rape

        And nothing, that's my point. The timeline is irrelevant. Build it, enjoy, move on to the next thing. All cars are different, all builds are different. I'm well aware of the amount of time. I'm well aware where I'm at.

        It will be fun to do some some runs with platforms on equal footing. That is the point.

        It's not like they shut down if they lose a race. It shows a difference between the cars and it's fun for enthusiasts to see.

        Ya, the M3 got destroyed. If Earl's car gets beat down by a UGR Gallardo is it a big deal? No, his car is still fast.

        in fairness they did not come out to specifically race the clk (the boys were out testing some things) and you have to give the bmr guy props for posting a vid where they got beat.

        Lets just say the folks at Weistec called us to team up. We are going through numbers and shopping list on the car now and it will include full engine build (pistons, sleeves, rods, heads) as well as their blower, and a host of our parts and tuning.

        Should be pretty stout when done.....I was already in the 10's

        Not a problem. The weistec guys have been awesome so far, so if all goes to plan should have a monster on our hands.

        I did not say I would beat one and fully aware of what UGR brings to the table.
