      Mercedes had a strong 2012 LA Auto Show with some major debuts. The first of which is the one that has been getting all the attention, the brand new SLS AMG Black Series. Mercedes showed up with a stunning yellow/gold painted example. The color simply is incredible in person with a very rich and deep look to it. The SLS Black Series itself just looks much more aggressive than the standard car and is simply a beautiful car.

      The GL63 AMG also made its debut somewhat lost in the shuffle behind the SLS Black Series. The GL63 bodywork looked excellent but make no mistake this is one huge performance SUV. For those who want an SUV with third row seating and a motor that packs a punch, the GL63 AMG appears to have the market to itself.

      The Energ-G-Force concept was also in attendance and looked like the result of a Mercedes G-Class, a Hummer, and a Jeep Wrangler getting together and having a baby that was then fed steroids. An awesome concept and a great design study by Mercedes-Benz.
