Bring the B8 Audi RS4 to America? Audi is toying with the idea and showing off the wagon/avant across the USA

This is somewhat similar to what Audi did with the TT-RS. Build up hype and see if the public in the United States wants the car. The difference is that this is an RS wagon something which Audi has consistently said would not sell in the United States. We did not get the B5 RS4 and Audi did not announce it would bring the B8 RS4 to the United States. Well, they are at least open to the idea showing off the car and taking notice of the Facebook page Bring The Audi RS4 Avant to America.

So far Audi has sent the car to Virginia to Cars and Coffee gauging reaction. It also has been spotted by readers of various blogs sending in photos. Audi even added a sticker to the car that says, "You just got beat by a wagon."

AudiBoost is digging Audi's attitude and that they are at least open to the idea but will they seriously bring the car to the USA? Is this is all just a publicity stunt? Chances are pretty slim but at least they are exploring it. Let's hope Audi as well as the USA market turns out to be more open to the idea of a high performance wagon in American than previously thought. Also, this would be the only high performance wagon offering all wheel drive on the market. Do it Audi, show some balls.
