      Congratulations to APR on the first 11 second manual US Golf R. APR was able to hit 11's with ESP on and the stock all season tires. They also did not shift into 5th gear at the 1/4 mile mark hurting the trap a little bit. This is a development car so times will no doubt improve as it sees more time on the drag strip. Still, an 11.8@113 in the 1/4 mile on runflat tires with traction control on gives a pretty good idea as to what the car is capable of in street trim.

        The Golf R has the older VW FSI engine, where as the regular GTI has a TSI engine (Pat's GLI engine). There is currently a mass market available HPFP for the FSI engine, however I'm not sure of the actual limits, should be 500hp+.

        The kit includes injectors.

        The main issue with these cars is no one really tunes for Meth, unless you drop the coin on a eurodyne and the hours spent trying to tune it. I mean you could run the "100 octane" tune but then there are minimal fail safes in the event that meth stops flowing. You'll see some gains on the OTS 91/93oct map, but it's certainly not optimized.
