      Congratulations to VWBoost member pattrick02 whose MKVI Jetta GLI put down a very impressive 473 wheel horsepower on a dynojet dyno. This car has a modified APR Stage 3+ upgrade but really it is the fueling upgrades that make this amount of power possible. The HPFP (high pressure fuel pump) and LPFP (low pressure fuel pump) system were both modified by USP Motorsports in order to give the fuel system enough of a bump to support this amount of power.


      The upgrades to the LPFP system were to add a second in-tank low pressure pump. The high pressure pump was modified to flow more efficiently. The other changes are a new tune and MS109 race gas. The head is still stock so there is still a little more to extract from this setup and cracking 500 wheel certainly is feasible.

        Damn dude, you're just merking all these cars. That bike run was the most impressive I must say. You have one badass built GLI.

        Bike run was impressive indeed. Was that a 'busa in the other bike run!? hows the traction and handling with all that power and FWD? Need more pics of the car!

        Wish VW/Audi would offer 4motion/Quattro on all their cars!

        The z06 had cams, intake, exhaust/headers, and tune from what I know. And the 1m had jb4, downpipes, and intake. Not sure if he had anything else.

        Thanks buddy! Yeah, that other run was a hayabusa. Traction on the highway isn't bad. 1 through part of third there is pretty much no traction though..The car is a beast on the highway though..3rd gear and up and it just pulls and pulls for days. I really, really wish VW offered an awd GLI. That would be beyond perfect. I would buy it in a heartbeat.

        Definitely a sleeper. No one ever expects it. It's kind of funny, because now I have all these people that I don't even know from the meet all calling me out, wanting to run. Oh geez. I feel like I'm back in high school again.

        Anyways, still waiting on brackets for the seats, and also still waiting on Raxle to return my axle. Blahhh. I want to drive my car, so bad!

        Yep, same $#@! happened to me when I raced a z06 last week. It's the best feeling when people have no idea what the hell just happened. He came off the same exit and pulled up next to me and said "Big turbo eh?" LOL. He loved it even though he pulled me. Wasn't expecting me to hang on.

        I DID! OMG! That thing is so damn sexy. They are supposedly promising a TSI motor with capability of upward to 1000hp. I'd sure love to see what in the world they come up with.

        if fueling is there i think it's possible...of course the turbo needed to get there would probably have a bit of lag.

        Would be really, REALLY interested to see if they stroke it out to 2.2L or something.

        different turbo. i took the ported head off. stock head is back on for now.
