      BimmerBoost was very impressed with this swap done by G-Power as reported in September when the car was revealed. Take a 1-Series, swap in the M3's S65 V8, supercharge it, and then give it 1M body work for an excellent recipe. G-Power states the vehicle has about 600 horsepower which certainly sounds about right. In the video below you can see what the car sounds like as well as get an idea of the performance offered.


      Suffice it to say, the car sounds spectacular. It also looks like it is quite a handful to control. Equipped with a DCT transmission it gets up to 314 km/h (195 mph) in a hurry. Check out the video below.

        From my POV its not this good performance as it should be (01:42 ...) on 600hp crank and DCT 0_0
        It looks like it is climbing on a hill ^^

        It slows down once approaching 300 but that's pretty understandable with a tall 7th gear and the aerodynamics. Still reaches a pretty impressive speed and accelerates like a beast.

        Why does it have a 400km/h speedo? haha that's what's giving you the impression that it's slow, even 300km/h is already 186 miles an hour which is seriously flying.

        You have to be joking, right? The car did 0-160 kmh (100 MPH) in less than 8 seconds, 0-120 MPH (ish) in ~10 seconds (end of 4th gear =~ 120) - if I counted too quickly, it's faster than a Saleen S7 TT...         Almost no car will accelerate quickly near the 200 MPH zone, it requires a TON of horsepower to just maintain speed, to actually accelerate is another story. For a car with a cfd of .30, it takes 95 more horsepower to take your top speed from 200 to 210. Think about that - almost 100 horsepower for 10 more MPH at that speed. That's why the car accelerates brutally fast - and then looks like it hits a wall... A wall of air. Click here to enlarge

        To put this further into perspective, a stock e9x M3 (using that site above) does 0-124 MPH in 15.4s, an e46 M3 in 20.5s and a 335i in 20.7s. This car would already be going 150 MPH against the e9x M3, and about 165 MPH against the older M3 or the 335i. That's insane.

        yeah, to me this shows aerodynamics coming into major effect

        until 250km/h my mind was blown, every update was 10-15km/h like shiiiiiiit

        then up top of 6th was a slooooooooow crawl (comparatively) lol (270ish onwards) - which wasn't what i'd expect of 600hp, but well.. this car wasn't entirely designed to fly past 300km/h now was it? ;P ... but before then... wow!!

        then we all have to remember, our cars feel super quick when you're in them, and they'd be even slower than this to watch Click here to enlarge
