      Is this how Porsche will finally move away from the 911? Porsche CEO Matthias Muller confirmed a mid-engined Porsche sports car is under development which will be a rival for the Ferrari 458 and the McLaren MP4-12C. This vehicle would be priced above the GT2 RS but obviously much less than the upcoming 918 Spyder hybrd-supercar. Expect similar $250,000-$300,000 pricing as the Ferrari 458 and the McLaren MP4-12C.

      Technology from the 918 Spyder would likely carry over to the 961. A 4.6 liter V8 (same as in the 918) would be used but without the expensive (and heavy) hybrid drivetrain. So around 570-580 horsepower in a lightweight mid-engine car. This should be spectacular.

        I'd have this car over a 458 and a MP4, and it hasn't even been released.

        I'll a brick it looks very similar when it really comes. It has to be similar to this. It has to top the 911 and this does top it.

        All I know is I really like it.
