      Here is a race video of a W211 E55 with a Eurocharged tune and exhaust (stock pulley) versus a DCT E92 M3 with the ESS VT1-535 kit. The M3 has meth and a smaller pulley than standard in the supercharger kit for more boost. The E55 AMG is running the stock pulley which really holds it back. The E55 owner definitely needs a pulley upgrade to see the potential his car has to offer.


      Regardless, the DCT M3 appears to be the faster car reeling in the E55 and passing even when the E55 gets a jump. Not a surprise as the M3 is a 123 mile per hour trap car and the E55 appears to be in the high teens at best. The E55 owner also could work on his racing etiquette just a bit as he tends to jump and not wait for honks before getting on it.

      The Gallardo isn't mentioned because it just looks pretty, not really competition for either car. The Gallardo owner should start looking into mods, stat.

        lol, i was in 1st, spun and banged the limiter, but he gave me my roll, so i gave him his. I think he just signed up here. I was out on the DRs last week and noone wanted to run, but he wasnt there

        i would think he would be just as bad from a 15 roll with all that torque

        The 1st run was a ridiculously low speed & LM's traction control went off instantly from the start. The start for the 2nd run wasn't very "organized", but once the race began the M3 clearly started to pull once it hit 4th gear

        Thats what i said! I told him im going catless again, and smaller pully this week, if he doesnt do it, we can run me w/ advantage, then again when he gets pullied again..

        Great run! After that 1st run...I didn't know what to expect because that E55 took off!

        Good runs and the slow roll was impressive for the E, but you appear to have the top end power needed. I'd like to see a rematch when you're on the new X pipe with a better roll from say 30ish as its neither cars sweet spot

        E55 motors can be turned into some serious monsters for the cost of a 650 kit, labor included. I priced out TB upgrade, SLR cams, injectors, a tune, pulley and long tube headers...it will put you well into the 600whp range, and the stock trans will take it all day long!


        I like the look of the 210 bodies....the prices have come down on them a bit, almost afford one! Getting it without the Airmatic suspension is a plus.

        Was a very fun race. Will be out Sunday as long as the weather is good. Soon there will be a pulley and ice box.
