This is a rather interesting development in the Mercedes-Benz AMG performance scene. Truth is, World Motorsports is a newer name and one not seen on BenzBoost before. A Mercedes SLS AMG Twin Turbo kit certainly is quite a way to make an entrance. They already seem to have the turbos mounted but hardware is only one part of puzzle. What about the tuning? What about the impact of the torque on the SLS dual clutch transmission? These are just some of the problems posed.

World Motorsports is located in Torrance, California and Benzboost was invited out to see what they are up to. A very generous offer as most companies won't allow anyone to visit when they are preparing for a show (SEMA) and wrapping up very difficult work. Apparently they are going to try to make it to SEMA in Las Vegas which is less than three weeks away. Not a long window but it would be impressive if they were to make it.

Plumbing is said to be 80% complete at this point and the car should be hitting the dyno soon. BenzBoost will hopefully be able to provide more info shortly after stopping by the shop. For now, enjoy the development pictures below.

What is with this lecture? Respecting other peoples opinions? Last I checked this site does that to a greater degree than any other. It respects peoples opinions too much at times which is a criticism I often get for leaving discussion far too open. So what are you talking about? Me disagreeing and defending myself is not me being disrespectful to your opinion.

I'm not disagreeing I could expend more effort "chasing" as you seem to expect me to but I'm content simply going to the meet, introducing myself, and going from there. I do not feel a need to push or escalate anything as you seem to be implying. Craig took things negatively anyway and I think maybe some time for him to work on the project as well as for everyone to step away from this for a second may let cooler heads prevail.

Your approach may be more aggressive but I feel mine is more mature and the right course of action in this instance. I also may be privy to information you are not regarding it. Regardless, the conclusion is not that "it's not, blame everyone else" it is that I'm choosing a more benign approach instead of essentially barging in and demanding information.

Coming in at any time I please once is disrespectful and obviously "anytime" doesn't make sense. You assume nothing else is going on except them waiting for my arrival? These dudes are busy. There wasn't anyone there for me to talk to, that was a fun "chase" but apparently not good enough. I just didn't comment on the tuning without knowing 100% and provided supplemental info to those who didn't. Kind of the right thing to do I would say.
