      Just a couple days ago an article was posted showing a video of a supercharged M3 pulling a tuned Nissan GT-R. Fair is fair and here is a video of a tuned GT-R beating a BMW. Now, the F13 M6 (yes F13 is the coupe F12 is the convertible, BMW ignored precedent for some reason) here is stock but even in stock form the M6 has shown what a beast it is. Even with over 500 horsepower at the wheels it simply is not enough versus this GTR.


      From a stop once into second gear the GT-R walks away. It definitely has to be making some power to do so and increase its lead the way it does. The second run is from a roll and the M6 appears to get a slight jump. The GT-R easily makes up any distance and walks away.

      M6 and M5 owners hopefully will learn from this video to not let the power go to their heads. It would be nice to see how the M6 would do versus a stock GT-R which would likely be a good race from a roll. Once tunes and bolt on's get out there for the new S63tu motor in the M5/M6, they should be monsters on the highway.

        I didn't know that Hennessey is stealing parts off GTR's now.....I meant to say tuning....yeah tuning. It's been 10 years so I guess it's all water under the bridge.

        The DCT gearing probably favors the new M5/M6, but having less power & the weight handicap are holding it back. Would really like to see some bolts-ons & aggressive tuning (E85 anyone?) on the S63tu

        Just because something happened a long time ago doesn't mean it isn't true anymore. What happened was that Hennessey stole parts from customer cars and sold them. This should never be forgotten.

        I think the M6 did well considering it's making 100+ less rwhp. Just me.

        I love the new M6. I haven't seen the M6 yet but from what I've seen of the regular f13, it looks smaller than its weight suggests. I want one.

        Modded GTR against a stock M6 isn't even fair. LOL I'd like to see them stock for stock though. That should be a decent race.

        I think a new M6 may barely hit 11s in the qtr mile mile, while the GTR is almost in the 10s?

        The time disparity is a function of awd versus rwd launch not power.

        With the recent M5 going 11.9 @ 119. I'd expect to see a properly driven M6 at a great track run some mid 11's @ 120+. Not as quick as the 13' GTR but it will be somewhat close. Keep in mind the M6 has a 2-300 lb weight deficit.

        Yes but it's main advantage in ET is due to the AWD launch.
