      Here is a video of a recent Renntech tuned M157 motor in a 2012 E63 AMG. This car does not have the performance package option and put down a baseline of 471 rear wheel horsepower. Tuned it put out 626 rear wheel horsepower for a gain of 155 horsepower to the wheels. The torque numbers are outstanding going from 463 to 738 pound-feet or torque for a gain of 275 pound-feet of rear wheel torque.

      This is all on a car with the stock exhaust, stock turbos, stock intercooler, stock airbox, and stock filters. The fuel is 93 octane pump gas. This is the highest tune only figure seen for the M157 on a dyno to date although the correction factor was not stated. Check out the video of the dyno below.

        That is insane. i dont think ive ever seen a car pick up so much power and torque from just a tune. 10 second car with drag radials and just a tune, for sure. Very impressive.

        Why is there a Check Engine Light on the dash?

        I know the car is set on the dyno mode, but it shouldn't have a CEL , right?

        Indeed! Some say, the RENNtech M157 w/upgraded turbo+hardware have more beast in it =) Wishing a 4matic w/MCT transmission version was available from AMG...
