How come? Porsche says it can not justify the expense of bringing it over as it likely would not sell enough. It also has not not been developed to be emissions compliant with American diesel regulations stated a Porsche spokesperson, "This product is not currently planned for the United States market as it has not been developed to meet local emissions requirements."
PorscheBoost strongly disagrees as if the standard Cayenne Diesel is a big seller (and it will be) why wouldn't the way more enticing V8 version sell as well? It seems the mentality still exists that Europeans want diesel motors and Americans do not. Let's hope Cayenne Diesel sales change Porsche's minds.
