      There have been several conflicting reports regarding the transmission options for the upcoming Porsche 991 GT3. EVO Magazine stated the car would have 470 horsepower and a PDK trans. Our latest report on the topic stated Porsche was leaning toward offering the PDK trans and that both manual and PDK versions were undergoing testing. The video below clearly shows PDK rev matched downshifts and the lightning quick PDK upshifts.

      This all flies in the face of a MotorTrend report from last year stating there would be no PDK for the 991 GT3. It would seem that since then Porsche has changed their mind regarding the PDK. The real question will be whether Porsche will still offer a manual for the 991 GT3 which we think they definitely should offer the option. If Insideline is to be believed, only 1 transmission will make it to production and based on the latest video chances are that will be the PDK.

      The styling of the car is coming along very nicely. We can't wait for more details and will bring them to you as soon as we have them.

        Rumors are only PDK, which is kinda disappointing.
