      Now it is important to point out the Stage III upgrade from APR is still in the Beta stage but we expect a release fairly soon. APR has hit 517 horsepower to the wheels with the upgraded turbo and full exhaust on the stock fuel system, stock internals, and the stock intercooler. For anyone thinking they may have trouble putting that power down APR just demonstrated 0-60 in 2.8 seconds on a VBOX.

      Obviously this is very impressive even more so when one considers they did it on the stock internals fuel system. Also that this is a 6-speed manual car and that a DSG (dual clutch) would likely be even quicker. It is scary to think how much more they can get out of the car. If you thought the TT-RS was all looks, think again.

        2.5 liter 5cyl with i believe a 71mm turbo (this is the upgrade).

        supposedly there is a bunch of turbo lag, but 2.8 seconds is damn fast.

        Where did you hear about the turbo lag on the Stage III? Guys are saying it spools pretty much like stock but with a much better top end.
