      The current W204 C-Class is winding down. Having started production in 2007 the time has simply come for the W204 to be replaced especially with the new F30 BMW 3-Series on the market. We expect the US offering for the next gen to have a turbocharged direct injection four cylinder in the C250 and the C300 and C350 to share direct injected naturally aspirated six cylinder motors. The next gen C63 AMG is the wildcard as if the model shares the other 63 AMG motors as before and receives the M157 twin turbo V8, game over.

      The car will be slightly larger but Mercedes has a recent trend of lowering weight. We hope they are able to push the C significantly under the 4000 pound mark. Expect more info on the next gen W205 soon and for it to debut next year likely as a 2014 model.

        Well, if it does it will be a very fast benz w/M157. Otherwise, the new AMG M1xx V8 4.0L Biturbo will be installed!

        When you say "push the C under 4,000lbs" are you talking about the C63? The current C250 is only 3,400lbs but the one with the badass V8 is just under 4,000lbs.

        Ya I am basically keep all C-class models well under 4000 if possible.
