• Evolve-R Stage 3 tuned BMW 1M takes on and beats a Panamera Turbo and C63 AMG in roll on races

      The BMW 1M in stock form is a slower car than either the Panamera Turbo or the C63 AMG. When tuned however that changes a bit when the N54 twin turbo motor is opened up. The 1M here features an Evolve-R Stage 3 race tune with full bolt on's which include downpipes and exhaust. Evolve states the car puts out 440 horsepower on their dyno dynamics which is likely conservative considering how it handles the C63 AMG and Panamera Turbo. Video of the races below.

        Thats a slow C63. It needs OE-tuned. The M1 doesnt even have meth and it walks all over the C63.Click here to enlarge

        Is it just me or is there always something fishy with these trackhos videos ??? A slightly modded M1 is walking a Panamera at high speeds ??? Just doesn't add up.

        It might be because a stock (non-turbo) Panamera only has 300hp - not sure if that's an S or a Turbo, but my guess is it's 300hp.

        It looked like it said the 1M had an Evolve stage 3 tune. I think it has to be FBO to run the stage 3. Evolve advertises this as 430 at the crank but Ive read that is conservative. Given the weight advantage the 1M has this might be possible.

        from the looks of it... the c63 seemed like it was possibly in S mode but didn't shift down to the lowest gear before flooring it... usually you should downshift and then get ready to punch it on the 3rd honk... it's very noticeable in the first run shown from inside the c63

        otherwise, that 1m is sick

        Let's not downgrade the M1 name. That's a 1M right there, completely out of M1's own league.

        The 1M is full bolt on with Evolve Stage 3 map. On our Dyno Dynamics we have seen 430-440 BHP and 500 lb.ft torque (flywheel). Quickest V Box time 0-100mph we have managed so far is 9.9sec - thats with a not ideal launch and 4.9 0-60mph. It is fast! The torque is what gets the jump on all the cars. We need to do some 60-130's.

        I think the community is well overdue to see a RB Turboed and Methed up 1M.
        The 1M has been out for a while now. C'mon guys.
