• Volkswagen considering bringing their Amarok pickup to Canada, why not the USA?

      VW Canada states that the Amarok pickup is being "evaluated" for the Canadian market. We hate to butt in here but there is a much bigger market than Canada that LOVES the pick up truck. There also is plenty of room in this sector as there is not a single mid-size diesel options we can think of. A fuel efficient mid-size with a diesel putting out 177 horses and 310 pound-feet of torque? What is there to debate really, this is a big hole in the market.

      It makes sense to us but hey, here is the problem. VW spokesman Mark Giillies states, "VW of America has absolutely no plans to sell the current version of the Amarok in the U.S." VW USA says no. How does Canada make more sense? Why not both?

        Not every car HAS to come to the US. The US already has a flooded truck market, this thing cannot compete with ford or chevy base trucks.

        Mid-size diesel... what do they have? Colorodo doesn't have it, Ranger is now gone, none of the Japanese trucks have it, this would be huge!

        @DBFIU what are u thinking about? I bet you If VWoA would put put a survey and COJONES to bring it, People would buy, I for one would jump in the Bandwagon
