      The Techart Type I 991 aero program was released in February of this year and Techart has now added to their offering. The pieces have undergone wind tunnel testing as demonstrated in the photo below. The modest Techart front spoiler I for example reduces front lift by 5 kilograms at 87 miles per hour. Rear Spoiler II will add 17.5 kilograms of downforce at the same speed and 76 kilograms at the cars top speed. Each of the three new packages offers varying degrees of downforce and they can be mixed and matched. Photos of the pieces are below.

        One of the sexiest kits out there! If this car wasnt so over priced I would have bought one!

        Ah F No it doesnt get away with it for me! 100k + for a carrera s? Ah F That. I'll get a used 997.2 GT3 for the same amount or less or for even lesser/same amount a 997.2 turbo.

        +1 on 997 GT3.

        Prices for the 991 have gone through the roof. And they're far from being exclusive cars here. In fact I see more 911s each day than M3s for example.

        The techart kits look really nice though!

        Exactly although the 997.2 GT3 puts out a little more power.

        I've seen more 991s than 6 series (actually I've seen a surprising number of both already) so clearly they are selling. I personally think the increased price is justified, you only have to sit inside it for two seconds to see that. I remember when my dad bought his 997 Carrera S and my mom sat in it for the first time "...why the hell does this thing cost 80 grand?" hahaha

        I felt the 997 interior was a huge step up from the 996.

        997 was definitely a lot better than the 996, but if you ask me the 991 is an even bigger step. If you agree that the 997 was like 50-100% better than the 996, the 991 is like 300% better than that.

        I think 996 to 997 was a bigger step than 997 to 991. The 991 is a great step up though.
