      By now everyone knows all about the BMW i8. A quick refresher, this is BMW's hybrid sports car with horsepower in the 350-400 range and a price point estimated around the $150,000 mark. It will be fairly exclusive and offer excellent performance for the reported 78 mile per gallon capability. The styling of the concept was ostentatious to say the least and many of us have wondered how it will translate into production. These renderings tone the color schemes and body work down slightly but still keep the original design intact. If this is what the real thing looks like, then this is going to be one hot car.

        This is a real hybrid, IF it hits near the advertised MPG numbers. THANK YOU BMW for making a real sport hybrid. Not like that Honda CR-Z bull$#@!.

        Nice looking rendering. Finally starting to see hybrid vehicles that don't make you want to punch a baby.

        Honda CR-Z doesn't cost $150k
