      We have discussed the G65 AMG a couple times before and now it is confirmed the vehicle is indeed coming. AutoEvolution reports the G65 AMG will come with an M275 V12 at 6.0 liters with 612 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque. The expected price is somewhere in the 220,000 Euro range making this an absurdly expensive G-Wagon. Will it come to the USA? We hope so, just because the idea is so ridiculously over the top.

        I guess the 7G tranny can handle torque!

        There is always all that talk about it not being able to handle torque, unless this is a special version and has been beefed up! Butt I believe the V12 TT puts out around 740lb of torque

        Has a 7g been done with an m275? I would expect a 5 speed.

        This car will be absurdly fast in a straight line but the handling is poor I just can't see the appeal. You almost have to come to a complete stop to turn in one of these things. But they sound great!

        Pretty stupid if you ask me. MB really ruined this car by offering AMG versions, this is a taugh comfort offroader not a desperate housewife transporter.

        The only 7g that has been done already by AMG, it's for the Pagani Huayra M158 (an improved M275 BS) and it's not a wet clutch like the 7G on the M156. So, I would expect a 5 speed as well on the Gwagen 65.
